I feel like I can barely find time to blog these days. I am trying to blog inbetween.... working, travelling to and back from work through hours of roadworks (the non-event that this takes up most of my life!) reading "The Secret Life of Bees" travelling to visit friends in Liverpool for the weekend, going to a party, going out for a delicious Valentine's meal at Cafe Rouge, preparing to give a presentation tomorrow... oh yes, and sleeping!
That's OK, I haven't had much time or inspiration to blog myself. Blogging is usually inversely proportional to the amount of work one does...
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel... life gets so hectic sometimes. You (and your lovey blog) are missed though!! :)
ReplyDeletePJ: I hadn't thought about it like that but it's true. Your theory certainly explains why we don't blog often, but VH does!
ReplyDeleteI started blogging when I didn't have a job, and used to blog much more, to give myself something productive to do, but now I have enough to do with work etc.
Shop Girl: Thanks :-) I haven't stopped blogging but life gets in the way sometimes. I am impressed by your daily blogging!!
Someone gave me that 'Bee' book a couple of years ago but I've never got around to reading it. Is it any good? How was the presentation?
ReplyDeletePoor you on the road so much. My commuting days are a distant memory now. After I relocated from London to Winchester train timetables played a big part in my life, as I still kept my job which was just beside Oxford Circus. I'd get in a right old state every afternoon if it looked like I had to stay on and finish something, when all I wanted to do was get the 17.57 from Waterloo
Yes, it's certainly worth reading although it can't be the best book I've ever read as I have been reading it for at least a month (and it's quite short!). Re. the presentation - well it's over, and I'm glad for that!
ReplyDeleteI worked in London too, commuting in by train - I much prefer driving like I do now; there is something depressing about being on a commuter train!
