Today, we had our first visitor to our flat. She was neither invited nor welcome here, and had managed break into the bathroom through a vent. However, we treated our guest well, took some pictures of her and then released her back outside. Next weekend, we are going to have some real visitors who will be made much more welcome. I took some pictures of our little friend to share with you. 
a tip I was given once: wear yellow with black when you are feeling REALLY assertive. Or want to give that impression.
ReplyDeleteDo you do that? I remember years ago in a choir competition there was a choir with a yellow and black school uniform, we all thought they looked liked bees and I found it hilarious at the time.
ReplyDeleteOh, I had such a visitor once back when I lived in NDG. I was shaving, half-naked, and the thing just flew into the bathroom. Let's just say I am not so kind to uninvited guests.
ReplyDeleteSuch visitors are very unwelcome aren't they? You got her before she got you! We are good hosts here though, regardless of whether the guest has a sting in it's tail or not.

ReplyDeleteThe Hubster and I get these in our apartment EVERY summer... I think there must be a nest somewhere nearby but our landlord is too lazy to go look for it. *sigh* haha
Ugh I hope we don't have a nest!!! It isn't even summer yet... If there is one, it is in our contract that it is our responsibilty and not the landlords. I feel bad for you getting them every summer, on the positive side at least they aren't spiders (as I see you don't like them anymore than me)...
